Women’s group
Once a week, refugee women from Afghanistan meet at YAAR e.V. Here they have the opportunity to exchange ideas, talk about their problems and ask questions about everyday situations. The goal is to give them cultural orientation and useful tips and information for life in Germany. In addition, we organize joint cooking evenings and excursions. Yoga training and computer courses are also offered to the women.
The women’s group meets every Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.
The meetings are held in Farsi/Dari language.
We look forward to welcoming you.
The project is funded by the Integration Fund of the District Office Mitte of Berlin. The Integration Fund is a measure from the overall concept for the integration and participation of refugees of the Senate of Berlin.

Community outreach
A lively community group consisting of women and men meets twice a month to exchange ideas with each other about life in Berlin-Lichtenberg. The group organizes a variety of activities, including excursions and workshops. The excursions are an important part of the group’s activities. From exploring the natural beauty of the area to visiting interesting sights, there is something for everyone to discover. In addition, the community group regularly offers exciting workshops. Members have the opportunity to discover new talents, expand their skills, and grow in a supportive environment. The group values cultural diversity and celebrates important cultural festivals together. Breaking the fast and celebrating Nowruz are special highlights of the community group.
The project “At Eye Level” is funded by the Berlin-Lichtenberg district integration fund. The integration fund is a measure of the overall concept for the integration and participation of refugees of the Berlin Senate.
