“Bebined – Increasing the Visibility of the Afghan Community” is a project that aims to empower the Afghan community in Berlin. By this we mean increasing their visibility, communicating their concerns to political and social decision makers and giving them a voice. The focus in project year 2023 is on the two admission programs: The  admission program of the state of Berlin and the admission program of the federal government. Through professional exchange and consultation, we evaluate the challenges of the admission programs, advocate for their improvement, and inform the community about opportunities to participate in the programs.

The project is funded by the Senate Department for Labor, Social Affairs, Equality, Integration, Diversity and Anti-Discrimination as part of the Participation and Integration Program.
