Human Rights

At YAAR, we are passionate and committed to advocating for the human rights of refugees from Afghanistan. However, our work does not only include the protection of human rights in general, but we also put a special focus on women’s rights and minority rights.

In order to achieve our goals, we network with other fellow campaigners and organizations on both a national and international level. Through this exchange, we aim not only to increase the visibility of refugees’ concerns, but also to facilitate professional exchange, conduct research and advocacy. Together with those affected, we work to protect human rights and represent their interests.

We are actively involved in public campaigns and seek exchange with decision-makers from politics and civil society. In doing so, it is important to us to involve those affected ourselves and to hear their voices.

Our activities span various locations, particularly in Berlin, Brussels and Geneva, in order to advance our causes both nationally and internationally.
